He began his career as an economist evaluating investment opportunities and developing strategic plans for Getty Oil and Texaco. Tiring of the corporate world, he took an 18 month sabbatical and then entered the field of personal financial planning in 1986. Recognizing the value of independent and unbiased financial advice, he co-founded Goldman Lancaster, Inc in 1992. As a lifelong resident of Long Beach, he is active in a number of community organizations and causes and has served on the boards of the Pennsylvania State University World Campus Blue and White Society, USC Alumni Club of the LA Beach Cities, and is a Charter member of the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals programs.Michael has been involved in financial services for over a decade and has assisted individuals and business owners in structuring financial plans and investment strategies to help them pursue their goals.
